About This Site

The website was established in September 1999 and was one of the UK's and Manchester and the NW’s first ever, comprehensive and regular online music review publication. It is now the regions and one of the UK’s, largest music only review website.

Musicdash / ManchesterMusic is a registered non-profit limited company, run by volunteers and a host of contributors who freely give their time and to whom we are eternally grateful. The website is currently, entirely self funded, with any income generated by our activities, re-invested directly back to the group, without any remuneration made to anyone.

The organisation has been established on a brief of co-operation and direct pro-active involvement with the local music scene and emerging creative industries.

The site is supported entirely by itself and the occaisional donation. The website supports the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) and Love Music Hate Racism, amongst many other good things.
