guitars are slung low, the thousand yard stare of the singer is accompanied by
his magnificently clever and diverse voice. There's the odd nod to Radiohead but
a firm foot in the firm to hard alt rock camp, as there are at least four
numbers which muster enough of a vibe to generate a shiver of appreciation up
one's vertebrae. Whilst the solitary slower number towards the end of the set
disturbs things a little, the rollicking closing song, hammers out a constant
chord and soars above our heads, making the right impressions and slamming them
straight into Manchester's top league of unsigned "must sees".

"have you heard Plan 7 yet ?...if not why not - modern melodrama - intense and crammed full of sound effects, big guitars and the fattest tunes you will hear - think LEAVES but actually good.

"Soaring, swaggering, stadium bound tunes - smattered with some darker moments, which jut up against the melodic assault - unrelenting, addictive and destined for something far bigger, better and more rewarding - an unholy guarantee."

"The guitarist swung his fringe and hit a chord. The singer sang 'I'll always be a fool, but that's cool with me, yah'....The audience loved it." [The Guardian]
"blends the ethereal vocals of backing singer Jo with the passionate, Dylanesque voice of front man Jamie to create a mellow, soulful sound that's really promising." [Student Direct]
